Workshops are held in:
Manhattan, Metuchen NJ, Western Connecticut, Houston & SA TX (maybe), Washington DC or Maryland (still working on it). Caribbean (Jan. 2009)

*NOTES: I have a new, NJ studio, and a new, NJ partner, Dan Rod. The location is in Metuchen NJ (very, very, close to the Glam 101 studios).

Connecticut workshops are run in conjunction with my CT partner (position open). Our CT studio is in (we need a studio). CT workshops are dependent on finding a studio.

Workshops require a minumim photographer participation, usually at least ten slots filled for the day & at least two slots filled for each session. If the minimums are not met, the workshop, or individual session, will be cancelled due to inadaquate photographer support.

Model releases are usually extra & payable directly to the model.

Thursday Walk In Shoots:
I also coordinate mid-week shoots, usually on Thursday evenings, please see details here. There are NO Walk In Shoots planned or anticipated at the present time.

Outdoor Spring, Summer, & Autumn Workshops: I'll be running a few outdoor shoots during the Spring, Summer, and Autumn. Since WEATHER is a very big factor, these events will only be set up a few days in advance. Most of these events will only be announced by telephone, or by e-mail, or on the Manhattan Figure Photography & Lighting, Meetup Board (click here). If you want to go, ask to be on my e-mail list, & make sure I have your phone number. Not having studio cost, brings the price down. However, having fewer photographers to split the cost, raises the price. Expect cost in the $40 - $80 range, more or less, plus or minus. Absolutely no guarantees, be prepared for surprises, disappointments, and serendipitous events. Bring water, food, suntan lotion & bug spray. Models expressing interest in summer outdoor workshops include: Valerie Whitaker, Renee King, Tiana Hunter, Theda B, & numerous others.

The Come Back List: These models are very high up on the come back wish list: Taneka B, Mandy K. (Ohio), Yulia (Washington), Tiana Hunter, Hope Hoffman, Candace Nirvana, Erica (San Francisco), Melissa Troutt, Melissa K., Suzy Loves, Vassanta, Valarie Whitaker, Liz Ashley, Tereses Marez, Isobel Wren, Sie ist Idaho, Danielle Trixie, in no particular order. This list is just my dreaming, no models have committed, except as indicated.

Generally, workshops will be on both SATURDAYS, and SUNDAYS. Additional midweek, evening shoots are a possibility. All indoor Manhattan workshops will be on West 30th Street, in Manhattan, unless otherwise indicated. All indoor New Jersey workshops will be held in Metuchen. All Conn. workshops will be held at a new location. All Houston workshops will be at Skyline Studios on Hutchins.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Effective June 2, 2007 Herb Mann & I are no longer doing the Baltimore Workshops together. I'll be running Maryland, or more likely Washington DC, workshops again, but not as soon as I hoped.
