Thursday Evening Walk in Shoots

Walk in Shoots are held on Thursdays in Manhattan. They usually start around 6:30 PM.

Updated: 6/8/07 PM The Thursday evening walk in shoots are very easy to attend. Just show up and pay at the door. No registration or pre-payment is required. The shoots are held at 115 W 30th Street, Studio 408, Manhattan. When you show up you will have one or two or three models to choose from. Pick which model you want to work with, pay me, and start shooting.

Cost:
Cost is determined by the style the model is posing in:

Fashion (street, office, & casual wear)      $40.00
Fashion (underwear, swimsuit, & lingerie) $45.00
Topless (breasts fully exposed)                 $50.00
Nude (naked, bare, no clothing)               $55.00

We plan on a single two hour session with four photographers. If there are five photographers the session is two and a half hours long. For six photographers the session is three hours long. On Thursdays, we are less formal, less regimented, & less organized than for weekend workshops. The models are not guaranteed to be paid, & they do not guarantee to be there, as I said, it's informal, and so far it seems to be working. If you check the Manhattan Figure Study & Lighting Meetup on Tuesday or Wednesday, you might find a tentative list of models, general updates, & in the worst case, cancellation notices.

Outdoor Summer Workshops: I'll be running a few outdoor shoots during the summer. Since WEATHER is a very big factor, these events will only be set up a few days in advance. Most of these events will only be announced by telephone, or by e-mail, or on the Manhattan Figure Photography & Lighting, Meetup Board. If you want to go, ask to be on my e-mail list, & make sure I have your phone number. Not having studio cost, will bring the price down. However, having fewer photographers to split the cost, will raise the price. Expect cost in the $40 - $80 range, more or less, plus or minus. Absolutely no guarantees, be prepared for surprises, disappointments, and serendipitous events.
